3 Achievable New Years Resolutions

Making goals in the start of the year isn’t cliché, it’s practical. Be sure to make goals that will improve your daily life, make you a happier person and choose goals that are meaningful to you. Let's talk resolutions...

Value Your Friendships

Friends are an important part of every women’s life. Your friend(s) are supportive through any major crisis that may pop up in your life.

I know some of you are guilty of getting wrapped up in life’s busy schedule, myself including. Slowing down and making time to spend with friends is very important; we must cherish these relationships – it makes our lives even richer.

We can make more of an effort to listen, love and learn from others in 2018.

In 2018 I will…. invite friends over and cook for them more often. Also, I will host game and movie nights.

Whatever it is, show that you appreciate them.

Learn and Try New Things

Learning new things is so beneficial to our mental health.

Learning something new gets us access to new and different opportunities and the chance to try new experiences that might be the best ones we’ve ever tried. You’ll grow as a person, develop your knowledge and improve in all aspects of your life. Trying out new things, you’ll be introduced to new people with the same interests as you are! New experiences lead to more adventures.

In 2018 I will… learn to rock climb, learn more about nutrition, learn photography and read more books.

It is so easy to compare yourself with other.

“Oh, I’m not as thin as she is.”

“I’m not as fit as her.”

“I’m not successful like she is.”

“Her life looks better than mine.”

We ALL need to stop doing this – take a step back and realize just how much hard work you put in. You should never compare yourself to anybody else because it only leads to negative outcomes. Instead, be inspired and motivated. When you stop comparing yourself, you’ll have a much more positive mind-set.

In 2018 I will… be inspired by those around me and learn to appreciate myself and all the hard work I do.

Let us know if you’re setting yourself any resolutions this year and if so, what are they?

Happy New Year!
