Getting Prepared for Foxy Fit Camp on January 6th!

First of all.

Congratulations to those participating in the Foxy Fit Camp at the start of 2018! You’re taking the first step towards a healthier you!

 

Here are some things to keep in mind during your days with Fit Camp:

 

1. Get in the mindset

You can’t achieve fitness goals if your mindset isn’t in the right place. Make a vision-board and keep it in sight where you’ll be able to look at it daily.

 

2. Invest in a notebook or a journal

Jotting down three things in your notebook that you’ll do if you feel you might fall off track.

 

Ex.

One: Go for a walk. (A walk is very beneficial for the mind)

Two: Take fifteen minutes on your yoga mat.

Three: Start cleaning the house, the car, do your laundry.

 

Also, use this notebook to plan out your meals and also keep a ‘food log’ with all the food you’ve eaten each day.

 

3. Don’t stress

Remember food is not your therapist, food is just there to look after your body.

 

4. Set a goal for yourself

Set up a goal that you can measure and you can achieve. Maybe you want to do a certain amount of push-ups. Set up training goals! Because it makes you actually work towards it during training. Break your goal into small ones to help you reach your big one. Jot it down in your notebook!

 

5. Do Fit Camp with a friend!

This can be so powerful. You can motivate and encourage one another along the way. Maybe even prepare and plan your meals for the week.

 

Schedule in a walking session two days a week. This will help you reach your goals faster and maybe even become a long-term habit.

 

6. Find a routine for yourself

Take small steps and change little things at a time.

 

7. Make sure you're eating enough

Yup that’s right. It’s important to make sure that you’re eating enough calories throughout the day. When it gets towards the end of the day and you haven’t eaten enough, that’s when some people tend to start coughing down whatever they can. We want to avoid that.

 

8. Drink LOTS of water!

Water helps the body get rid of waste, which during any weight loss and exercise program is super important as all the metabolized fat needs an avenue to help shed and flush!

 

Tip: Fill your water up the night before with lemon and/or cucumber. In the morning, it will be super flavorful!
